Biography
William is the last of the children of William and Lydia Ann (Voorhees) to be born in Ohio. He married Catharine Teegarden on 02 Mar 1860 at Darke County, Ohio.[1]. Catherine's brother William returned to Jay, Indiana with the newlyweds. Among their children are:

- Noble
William served the Union in Company F, 75th Regiment, Indiana Infantry.[2]
