Biography

Reverend John J. Vail was born in 1685. He was the son of Samuel Vail and Elizabeth Hunt. He married Martha FitzRandolph on 17 May 1712 in Woodbridge, New Jersey. He was a Quaker preacher. He had 12 children: John, Samuel, Joseph, Mary, Thomas, Elizabeth, Nathaniel, Martha, Isaac, Sarah, Peter, and Noah. He died in 1774. and is buried at Hazel Wood Cemetery, Colonia, Middlesex, New Jersey, USA (no headstone photo) https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/7354965
