Biography
Thomas was born in 1695. He was the son of Samuel Vail and Elizabeth Hunt. He married Rachel FitzRandolph in 1717 in Woodbridge, NJ. At first, Thomas intended on marrying Experience FitzRandolph, but Experience eloped with Mr. Moore. After Thomas recovered, he asked Rachel FitzRandolph to marry him. He was a ship's carpenter. He died in 1718, one year after getting married.
