Biography

Sarah Priscilla Valentine was born about December 1867 in Canada. [1] She is the daughter of Joseph Valentine and Hannah McEvoy. Sarah died on 29 April 1942.

The Ithaca (New York) Journal 30 April 1942, p. 2

Mars. (sic) Sarah Valentine Graham. Mrs. Sarah Valentine Graham of 239 Linden Ave. died Wednesday, Apr. 29, 1942 at her home. Surviving are two daughters, Maude Smith of Ithaca, and Mrs. Harry Onan of Taughannock Falls; a son, Alfred T. Graham of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy C. Wood of Ithaca, and Miss Hannah Valentine of Ithaca; five granddaughters, 4 grandsons, on great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at the home, by Rev. Jesse Mullette of Dryden. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Trumansburg.
