Neeltje was the child of Gerritt Cowenhoven and Altje Kool who were living at Flatlands, Kings County, New York at the time. She married Roelof Schenk in 1660 in Flatlands, Kings County. She was living in there 1661 and died there in 1672 or 1674.[1].
