According to his death certificate, Thomas Nixon Van Dyke was a son of William D. Van Dyke and Anna Deadrick, born on 5 April 1863 in Jonesboro, Tennessee.[1]
Thomas Nixon Van Dyke died at age 82 at his home at 835 Oak Street in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on 10 November 1945. He was a retired treasurer in the spinning mill (cotton) business, and was married at the time of his death. He was buried in Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga.[1]
