Engeltjen was baptized in the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam on 23 October 1636, recorded as the child of Jan Guecke and Trijntjen Agges.[1][2]
Harry Macy said there is no record of Engeltjen in New Netherland, so she may have died young in the Netherlands.[3] It is also possible that she married around age 16 and remained in the Netherlands. This profile was created with an indication that she died about 1713 in Phillipsburgh, Westchester County, New York. What is the source of this information?
