Biography
EVA FREDERICKA VAN SYCKLE, the daughter of Morgan Van Syckle and Letitia Willson , was born Aug. 9, 1875 at Detroit, Michigan, and died Jan. 9, 1934. Married Aug. 25, 1896 to Miles Ellsworth Valentine, who was born March 9, 1865 and died Sept. 12, 1940 at Maysville, California, the son of Theodore Valentine and Betsy Cornell. Resided at Fenton, Michigan, but may have removed to California. Parents of two sons. (Willson 126)
Husband is noted as widowed in the 1940 census.
