Biography

When Sarah Van Wormer was born on May 9, 1780, in Schenectady, New York, her father, Jacob, was 31, and her mother, Mary, was 25. [1]

Sarah married Barton Sweet on September 17, 1796, in New York, New York. They had 11 children in 23 years.

  2. Nathan L. Sweet (1797 - 1887)
  3. Archibald Sweet (1801 - 1863)
  4. Onesimus Curtis Sweet (1804 - 1856)
  5. Cyrus Sweet (1821 - 1895)

Sarah died in 1850, and was buried in Bellville, Ohio [2]

She was a floater in my tree.. duh... so, I stumbled upon her and the Sweet family. I too am presently looking for information. Thanks! :) So far those are the 3 records I have.. I will get more that are not just ancestry files! Char~
