Bertha Rose Van Wynkley was born in 1881 in Michigan, United States, daughter of Herman Van Wynkley and Libbie Unknown
Bertha (24) married Anthony Henry Champine (25) (born on 1 December 1880 in New Baltimore, Macomb, Michigan; son of William Champine and Rica (Barthel) Champine) on 8 September 1906 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan. Their known son was Charles Champine (1908–>1910).
Bertha (27) married John Patrick Cave (23) (born on 4 December 1885 in Michigan) on 28 August 1909 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Bertha died after 1909, aged 27.
