Biography
Mrs. Ralph E. Blanchard The death of Mrs. Sylvia Blanchard wife of Ralph E. Blanchard at her home in Junction City, Saturday, March 4, was quite sudden and a shock for her relatives in this city. She had been sick a week from peritonitis and was 32 years old. Her husband and five small children survive. Mrs. Blanchard is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Vance of Colorado, former residents of this city and had spent most of hr live in Belleville. Mr. Blanchard is a Union Pacific fireman and the family made their home in this city until about two years ago when they moved to Junction City. The body was brought to the N. E. Blanchard home in this city Sunday evening and the funeral held Tuesday afternoon, conducted by A. B. Bachelor. Burial was made in the Belleville cemetery.
