David Vance married Mary Garland on 16 March 1866 at Dungannon, Tyrone, Ireland. Fathers were listed as William Vance & John Garland. [1] Witnesses James Vance & John Garland.

They emigrated to Australia in 1866.[2]

David passed away in 1880, aged 38. His parents were listed as Daniel & Mary. He was buried at the Geelong Western Public Cemetery.

DEATH
Vance—At the Geelong Hospital, on the 10th March, David Vance, late of Eara, Duck Ponds, aged 35 years. The funeral will move from the Hospital on Friday, the 12th insk, at 2 o'clock p.m., for the New General Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation.
