Anna was born on October 10, 1856 at New Antioch in Clinton County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Richard and Catherine Ann ( Carman ) Vandervort. She married John W. Bashore on May 22, 1878 in Clinton County. She passed away from arteriosclerosis and myocardial infarction ( heart attack ) on February 5, 1945 at Wilmington in Clinton County.
