Biography
Herbert was born in Tamworth, Ontario, in 1870. He was with his family in Kingston, Ontario, in 1881 and 1891. He married Bertha Pansegrau in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 1895. In 1900 they were in Garretson, South Dakota. They were in Muskegon, Michigan, from before 1906 until about 1921, and thereafter in San Diego County, California. They had a son and a daughter. He died at San Diego in 1945 and was buried there in Greenwood Memorial Park.
