Research Notes
There is an almost 5 year gap between the first and second born children. There could potentially be one or more children born in this period that have not yet been discovered. (Jones-98694 02:33, 24 May 2023 (UTC))
Trees on Ancestry and FamilySearch have Samuel's death or burial date as 16 Jul, 1795. The original burial record reads "Samuel & Sarah son & dr of Samuel & Sarah Vanes"[12] It is very uncommon for an adult, especially a married adult, to have had their parents listed on a burial record - normally only children had their parents names listed in burial records. This burial record possibly belongs to the children of Samuel's son, also named Samuel, and his wife, Sarah (nee Fellows) .(Jones-98694 11:02, 19 May 2023 (UTC))
A possible burial record for Samuel could be 25 Dec, 1807 at St Thomas Church, Dudley, Worcestershire.[13] More research will need to be conducted to determine if this is the correct one. (Jones-98694 11:02, 19 May 2023 (UTC))
