She married Samuel Sylvester Hopkins on 23 Dec 1880 in Jasper Co, IA, in a ceremony conducted by W. H. Griffin, Justice of the Peace. (Samuel was born Oct 1854 in PA, the son of F.Hopkins and Sarah Clymer Hopkins.) Their children were: Ralph Emerson, Florence May, Cyrus Sylvester, Vera, Dororthy, and Theda Grace. Kinnie died 15 Feb 1911 from a carcinoma of the stomach in Washington Twp, Jasper Co, IA.
