Biography

Ian was born in late 1903/early 1904. His birth was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1904 in Rhayader.^[1]

In the 1911 census, Ian, age 7, School, was recorded as in Bryntirion Lodge Nantmel Rhayader, Nantmel, Radnorshire, Wales.^[2]

Ian, age 25, the child of David Vaughan, married Annie Ivy Cambridge on 2 February 1929 at St Andrew's church, Clifton, Gloucestershire, England.^[3]

In the 1939 register, Jan, age 35, Signalman Great Western Rly W??, was recorded as the married head of household in Nant Bryn, Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset, England.^[4]

Ian died on 5 July 1984 in Worle, Weston Super Mare and his estate passed probate on 3 September 1984 in Bristol.^[5]
