She was first married to Tjaart Adriaan Nicolaas Venter.
On her death notice her children are given as: 1. Johanna Petronella Venter. 2. Cornelia Adriana Maria Venter. 3. Petrus Albertus Venter 4. Martha Jacoba Sophija Venter
