Biography
Marie Elizabeth Vigil was born to Abel I. Vigil and Beatrice Romero.
She went to high school in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Menaul High School. Her father paid for her tuition with meat and potatoes from his farm.
She was married to Robert "Bobby" McBride, and after graduating from the University of New Mexico with honors, she became a teacher at Rio Grande High School.
After her divorce with Bobby McBride, she married David Mott, a Marine from Maine. She subsequently worked as an administrative assistant to Teresa McBride at McBride Inc.
