Biography

She was the daughter of George Villiers, 1st Duke of Buckingham and Catherine Manners, Baroness de Ros of Helmsley.[1]She was born in 1622 and baptised on the 30th of March 1622 at Saint Martin in the fields, Westminster, London, England.[2]She was married three times firstly, Charles Herbert the son of the Lady Susan de Vere and Philip Herbert, 4th Earl of Pembroke on the 8th of January 1634.[3]at Whitehall, Westminster, Middlesex, England. She married, secondly, James Stuart, 4th Duke of Lennox, son of Katherine Clifton, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold), and Esmé Stuart, 3rd Duke of Lennox on the 3rd August 1637[3]at Lambeth, Surrey, England. She married, thirdly, Colonel Thomas Howard, son of Mary Eure and Sir William Howard in November 1664[3]at London, Middlesex, England. She died in November 1685, and was buried on the 28th of November 1685 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England[3]
