Biography

George was born on the 2nd October 1808 in Clerkenwell, the son of Thomas Vincent and Ann Madden (Leighton) Vincent, and he was christened on the 21st November 1808.^[1]

George was apprenticed to James Dennett of the stationers company on 4th March 1823 ^[2]

George married Elizabeth Oxenbould Higginson or Higynson on 19 August 1832 at St James' Church, Clerkenwell, Middlesex. The marriage register states he was of this parish, Batchelor and she was of Worcester, spinster.^[3]

George died aged 30 on the 7th February 1839 at 3 Mary Ann Place, West Hackney, Middlesex. His death was registered in Hackney in 1839.^[4][1][5]

George was buried on the 12th February 1839 in New Bunhill Fields Burial Ground, Islington, Middlesex a non-conformist burial ground. The burial register states he was 30 years old and his body was brought from Kingsland Road, Islington.^[6]
