No one named Pierre Vincent or Pierre Croteau was born on the date of July 3, 1670 in Charlesbourg or anywhere else according to the PRDH. The birth date given is the same as for his half sister Jeanne Croteau who was born on that date in Sillery, Quebec. I found no one named Pierre Croteau or Pierre Vincent died in Charlesbourg in the year 1686 after reviewing the Parish Register for Charlesbourg for that year. The Dictionnaire généalogique des familles canadiennes by Cyprien Tanguay does not mention another son Pierre Croteau, only the one born in 1687.
