Maria was born about 1785. Maria Vogt . She passed away about 1860. The surname Vogt is phonetically similar to the surname Faught which is used in the email narrative below which was submitted in 1997. Do not recall from whom it was originally received. Appears that Jim Wise and AD Wise were descendants of Johann Weiss. --jwl
