Biography

Anne (Waddell) Fagan was born in Ireland.

Anne was born in 1827. She was the daughter of James Waddell and Nancy Curley. She passed away in 1899. ^[1]

She married William FAGAN in 1848. There are two records of their marriage in the New South Wales BDM Register. The only difference between the two is the registration number.^[2][3]The district shown in the New South Wales BDM register was "JB" which was an early New South Wales Church Code for the Presbyterian Church - St Andrew's Scots Church, Parish of Sydney. ^[4][5][6].

So, she was an early settler to Australia, presumed free, but she may have been a convict, this hasn't been researched yet.
