Biography

William was born on June 20, 1806 in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. He married Elizabeth Hughes on August 2, 1827. He fought in the Civil War and it appears he was captured in Vicksburg, Mississippi and became a Confederate prisoner of war.[1][1] He passed away on January 10, 1889. [2] [3] William is buried in Hulbert Cemetery located in Green Township, Gallia County, Ohio.[2]
