Dorothy, daughter of John and Mercy (Wiswall) Wadsworth, was born in Duxbury on June 25, 1710 and died in Kingston on December 16, 1773. Dorothy descends from Mayflower passenger John Alden.

She married Joseph Bartlett in Duxbury on December 25, 1729. Joseph is the son of Ichabod and Elizabeth (Waterman) Bartlett. He was born in Marshfield in July, 1706 and died in Kingston in July of 1783 at the age of 75. Joseph descends from Mayflower passenger Richard Warren.
