Philindia was born on 12 Jan 1844 in Chest Township, Clearfield, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William Henry Wagoner and Catherine (Rorabaugh) Wagoner.

She married James Blair Woods.

Philindis was in her husbands Civil War Pension military record.[1]

She died on 7 Mar 1913 in Westover, Clearfield, Pennsylvania.

Well Known Lady of Westover Passes Away. Mrs. James Wood, widow of the late James Wood, of Westover, died at her home in that place on Friday, March 7th, 1913 in her 69th year. Deceased's maiden name was Wagner. She was married to James Wood in 1850 having resided in Chest Township all their lives. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. John K. Gorman, of this place; Mrs. A. A. Feighner, Carrolltown, PA; Mrs Joseph Hutton, of La Jose; and Warren, of Warren Co., PA. The Funeral took place Sunday afternoon Rev. Radcliffe officiated. Interment in the Harmony Cemetery.

Feighner, Carrolltown, Pa.; Mrs. Joseph [Kate] Hutton, of LaJose; and one son, Warren, of Warren Co., Pa. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon Rev. Radcliffe officiating. Interment in Harmony cemetery.
