Mary was born in 1787, the daughter of Abraham Wagoner (1762-1811) and Mary (Runkle) Wagoner (abt.1750-1833).

Surname at birth also spelled "Waggoner", on marriage records that way
According to FamilySearch.org, Samuel I. Swarer and Mary Waggoner had the following children: Mary Swearer 1807-1873 Elizabeth Swarer 1810-1855 (found on FindaGrave with Casner surname) Catherine Swarer 1811-1852 Abraham Swarer 1813-1893 (found on FindaGrave with unknown birthdate) Mahlon Swarer 1815-1872 (found on FindaGrave with 1814-1871 dates)
