Patricia Wagoner (1934 - 2011)

Wagoner was born July 10, 1934 in Paterson, NJ. Raised in Glen Rock, she graduated from Ridgewood High School, class of 1952. She continued her education at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio for two years where she was a proud member of Chi Omega Sorority, then transferred to Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.<p><p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 1.2em; padding: 0px">Mrs. Wagoner was employed for several years as an interior designer in New York City, then as a graphic artist at Conti Advertising, Ridgewood, NJ. She continued her love of art doing freelance work through later years.

Mrs. Wagoner resided in Midland Park and Wanaque NJ following her marriage to Kenneth Walter Wagoner on May 3, 1958. She was predeceased by her husband February8, 1984, Mrs. Wagoner then moved to Ramsey NJ. In 1997 Mrs. Wagoner and her companion, Edward Sokoly, moved to East Stroudsburg PA. She was predeceased by Mr. Sokoly on November 10, 2010.

Mrs. Wagoner is survived by her sister Nancy Groo, of Waldwick, NJ, two nephews, David and wife Vicki of Chicago IL, Matthew and wife Elizabeth of Hoboken, NJ, and a niece, Rebecca Brenkert and husband Craig of Midland Park, NJ Also surviving are two grand nephews, Christopher Brenkert and Patrick Groo and two grand nieces, Nicole Brenkert and Megan Groo.
