Biography
Susan Ann Gomon, age 58, of Staples, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Lakewood Health System in Staples, Minnesota. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 4, at 1:00 P.M. at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Steve Sveom officiating.
Susan was born on June 13,1953 to Wayne and Betty Wahlberg in Duluth, Minnesota. She attended Lake Superior College in Duluth for Licensed Practical Nursing and obtained her degree, graduating in 1972. She practiced nursing for 24 years in Duluth and in Staples. Susan married Scott Gomon on February 20, 1982 in Hermantown, Minnesota. She enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking and baking. Other hobbies include, listening to music, skiing and spending time with her family and friends.
Susan is survived by her husband of over 29 years, Scott, of Staples, daughter, Heather of Staples, parents, Betty and Wayne Wahlberg of Hermantown, brothers, David (Gail), and Dean (Shelly) of Hermantown. [1]
