1st Ark. Reg. 30-Day Volunteers, C.S.A. - This Co. was org. atEvening Shade, Lawrence (now Sharp) county, Ark., by Capt. DanielYeager. The Co. was enlisted for 30 days on Nov. 15, 1861, and was discharged, at Camp Borland, near Pocahontas, Ark. Joseph was a Cpl. in this unit.
