Biography
Bertha was the daughter of Laura Younce, born in Jan, 1896.[1] She appears to have been adopted, or taken the name of her stepfather, William George Wilkie, prior to the 1910 US Census,[2] and after the marriage[3] of Laura Younce and William George Wilkie. She married Dr. Alonzo Russell Walden 16 Jun 1951[4] in Asheville, Buncombe, North Carolina, United States. Bertha died in 1987 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery,[5] Franklin, Macon County, North Carolina, USA.
