Biography

Hensley was born in 1855 in the head of Dicks Creek area. He is the son of Rice Waldron and Rebecca Beavers.[1][2]

Marriage

Hensley married Isabella Cecil "Bell" Payne on 20 Apr 1882 in McDowell County, West Virginia. The couple was married by Rev. G. F. Bruster.[3][4]

Burial

Hensley was buried in the Lester-Waldron Cemetery located in Bartley, McDowell County, West Virginia.[2]

Research Notes

One set of birth records from Tazewell County, Virginia indicate his birth as 10 Feb 1854.[5] He passed away in 1948.[6] A Second set indicates 1855[1] The birth year on Find A Grave[2] and on the WV Death Register[6] indicate the year as 1855.
