Welcome Karen,

How are you? My name is Sally Stovall, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide to get you started.

Helpful guide here: Bartlett and here. We also have a Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And I'm here to help too, just ask!

Hi! I see where you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Congratulations on earning the DNA badge.

Did you know we have a Project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.

For more answers about DNA, here are links to explain further, DNA, DNA Features, DNA FAQ.

Welcome Karen!

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. We are building one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to check for duplicates as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

See How to Use WikiTree to be quickly oriented.

We offer many ways to participate in WikiTree - please see our list of Projects.

Visit our G2G Forum for answers to questions like this one: How do you find sources?

Wonderful ancestry! You may want to join the Mayflower project, or the Magna Carta or European Aristocrats.

Thank you for joining us in building our shared tree.

Hi, I have read your mission and the nine simple rules and I support and agree with them. Although, I have limited experience and time (waiting to retire in a few years) to devote more time to such a project, I will do my best to add when I can. I have 4 other family members who have taken 23&me DNA testing and can enter them at a later date. My 90 y/o aunt has supplied me with a wealth of information with family tree charts going back to William Brewster of the Mayflower and also all the way back to William the Conqueror, 1050. But I would like to be able to re-verify as that was done in 1982 and I'm sure more info is now available. I'm kind of a stickler for accuracy also. I have not set up my tree here yet. Please advise on how I can help.
