John, Edith and daughter Elva are all missing from the 1901 Census of Canada. However, further research shows that the census taker had recorded the names as Last-Middle Initial-First. Thus Walker H. John has been listed as "H John Walker" in the databse.

Note that the following marriage registration has a typo - all references to 'Dover' should read 'Doner'........
