Mr. Clark's maternal grandmother was Phebe Walker (1781-1864) who married Nathanlel Lord July 2, 1797. They had six daughters and three sons. Nathaniel died Feb 24, 1815. Phebe remained a widow 49 years and lived in the Mansion until her death at 83, October 16, 1864, raising her children there until they married.
