Biography

John Walker Jr, b. 19 Oct 1769, Culpeper Virginia, d. 31 Jan ----, Henderson County, Ky. He was called John Jr. to distinguish him from his uncle, John Walker.

He married Anna Banks on 16 Jan 1794 in Madison, VA USA, daughter of Adam Banks and Gracie James. They were married 16 Jan 1794, Madison, VA. Both John Jr. and Anna are buried in Henderson County Kentucky.

Military 1: 26 Nov 1792, Received 200 ac.land warrant Frankfort Ky,( #4595) for Revolutionary War Service. In 1776, (at age 7?). It is said he served in the Revolution as a private in Continental Line of Virginia.

1793, First Clerk of Madison County Virginia and Deputy Sheriff.
