Hilda Alleene was born August 5, 1914 in Birmingham, Alabama to father J. E. Walker and mother Maude Hamby.^[1]

Hilda Walker was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Overton Road, Precinct 31, Jefferson County, Alabama for the May 10, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1915 in Alabama and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Maude Gillispie, adopted son Reed Gillespie, son Calvin Gillespie, daughter Margarett Gillespie and daughter Dorothy Gillespie.^[2]

Hilda Walker wed Luther A Smith April 20, 1935 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama as seen in an image of the original marriage register.^[3]

Hilda Alleene Smith died September 10, 1941 in Charleston, Charleston County, South Carolina. She was married. Her husband was listed as Luther A. Smith. She was buried September 11, 1941 in Birmingham, Alabama.^[1]
