Reseach Notes

The profile that was recently merged was conflated with James W Rueben Walker (1760-1845), wife is Nancy Bradley 1769-1844, who was born in Virginia and died in Illinois. Both profiles have the same Find a Grave. Linked wife Nancy Jemima (Bradley) Walker (abt.1780-1844) is mentioned in the other profile, but not linked.

The Family Search Profile for James Reuben Walker FamilySearch Person: L1CD-4GB had sources for children that were born in North Carolina and England (which have been unlinked), so there is conflation of profiles in many sites

Please review Research Notes that have been added to this profile. The profile that was merged recently into this profile was conflated, so now this profile is conflated. There are multiple James Walker that lived in Scotland, England, and the United States, but they are not all the same person since there were children born in different locations with different wives around the same time period.

James W Rueben Walker (1760-1845) is a recent profile that has information for the James Walker that was born in Virginia, possibly lived in North Carolina, and died in Illinois. The Find A Grave: Memorial #9421206 for that James Walker is included in both profiles, which is probably where the death date and location on this profile comes from.

This profile Walker-16559 was initially created with a birth of 1780 and linked to Nancy Bradley.

The profile that was 'merged in' had the Scotland baptism date of Sept 22 1760. The Family Search profile for James Reuben Walker has sources attached for the Scotland Birth and baptism, which are probably incorrect, but is also probably contributing to why there is confusion with the profiles and the dates. The birthdate of the James Walker, born in Virginia, is probably not Sept 1760 since that is the Scotland James Walker, which is sourced.

PMs need to discuss if a new profile should be created for the Scotland James Walker, whose 'source' was in the 'merged in Walker-65135' profile and then merge this profile with the Walker-65031, since this has the linked wife and 2 children of that family, possibly.

Walker-64135 and Walker-16559 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicates
