Biography

John F. Walker was born in Mar 1828;[1] he was the son of John Walker and Cely Walker.[2]

On 4 Dec 1857 in Wyoming County, Virginia,[3] [4] [2] J.F. Walker (age 29) married Lucinda Toler (age 18). Lucinda's parents were David and Mary Toler. J.F.'s parents were John and Cely Walker.

In 1860,[5] John F. Walker (age 26 [sic], born Virginia) was living in Wyoming County, Virginia as head of household with his wife, Lucinda Walker (age 22, born Virginia),with their daughter, Armenta T. C. Walker (age 1, born Virginia).

In 1880,[6] John Walker (age 50, born Indiana [sic]) was living in Clear Fork Districk, Wyoming County, West Virginia as head of household with his wife, Lucinda Walker (age 39, born West Virginia), and their Walker children, all born in West Virginia (age, sex): i) Theodore (19, M), ii) Mary (14, F), iii) Celia (12, F), iv) David (10, M), v) Henry (9, M), vi) James W. (7, M), vii) Nancy (2, F). John's occupation was a farmer.

In 1900,[1] John Walker, Sr. (age 72, born Mar 1828 in West Virginia) was living in Baileysville District, Wyoming County, West Virginia as head of household with his wife of 42 years, Lucinda Walker (age 62, born Apr 1838 in West Virginia). They had born 13 children, 10 of whom were currently living. John's occupation was a farmer.
