Phineas Walker of Rutland was a 1st Lieutenant in Capt. David Bent's (Rutland) company of militia, Col. Nathan Sparhawk's regiment, which marched April 20, 1775, in response to the alarm of April 19, 1775 and later a Captain of the 4th company, and Captain of a detachment of guards, 7th Worcester County regiment stationed at Rutland.

Phinehas died on October 16, 1792 in Rutland, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA, aged 70, of Apoplexy.
