Phinehas Walker was born on August 20, 1722 in Sudbury, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, son of John Walker and Jemima (Stanhope) Walker. [1] [2] [3]

Phinehas married Beulah Clap on December 12, 1744 in Sudbury. [1]

Their children were born in Rutland, Worcester County, Massachusetts [4] [2] except the first two:

  2. Jonas Walker, b. May 14, 1749 at Sudbury.

Phineas Walker of Rutland was a 1st Lieutenant in Capt. David Bent's (Rutland) company of militia, Col. Nathan Sparhawk's regiment, which marched April 20, 1775, in response to the alarm of April 19, 1775 and later a Captain of the 4th company, and Captain of a detachment of guards, 7th Worcester County regiment stationed at Rutland. Phinehas died on October 16, 1792 in Rutland, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA, aged 70, of Apoplexy. [4]

Beulah, widow of Capt. Phinchas, died May 4, 1809, in her 86th year. [4]
