Biography

I remember his voice, how calming it could be, the songs he used to sing that put me to sleep, I remember his laughter, and was fortunate to see him before his passing. I love and miss you daddy every day.

Dawson Walker, age 86, a longtime resident of Tishomingo passed away August 21, 2015 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was born on July 19, 1929 to Waldo and Nora (Holly) Walker in Emet, Oklahoma. Dawson worked as a police officer and he joined the United States Navy-Army in 1951 and fought in the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Masons and he attended the Southern Baptist Calvery. Dawson loved hunting, fishing, baseball, dominos and spending time with family and friends.
