Biography
Mrs. Fern Garrett, 50, of West Salem, passed away Tuesday morning at Springfield Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for five days.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Marion Christian Church near West Salem, with interment in the Church Cemetery.
Surviving is her husband, Loren of West Salem; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley McNeely of Troy, Mich.; her mother, Mrs. Nellie Balding of West Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Freda Vandever of West Salem and Mrs. Flossie Oulrey of Olney.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the King-Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem.
