[John M. Gwin Note: Thomas is named in the probate of Isham Gwin's will. We know that the probate occurred after his wife's (Mary Canterbury Gwin's) death, and we know that Mary Canterbury Gwin was alive in the 1850 census. I think this means that Thomas was alive at least as late as 1850 and likely married and with a family. And so we keep those possibilities open here. Aha! Today, 22 Oct 2016, I find in the Martin Co., IN, census a Thomas Walker, 31, b. ca. 1819 in IN, and his family living next door to Mahala Walker Farris and her family. I believe these--Thomas and Mahala--to be this 24.04--Thomas and his sister, 24.07--Mahala, below. But the clincher comes two doors on the other side of Mahala and Grandison: there we find 24.01--Isom and Clarissa Walker and their kids!]
