DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with JIm or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with JIm:
I have sent a couple of requests to be allowed access to Paul Burnette Woerner, Sr. who is my grandfather. I also would like access to my great grandmother Blanche M. White. Would you please add me at your earliest convenience so that I can fill the tree in a couple more generations?
Could you please check profile Hall-3340 for whom you are PM.
This profile has some minor typographical errors that are raising database error messages, but we are not able to correct them as you have the profile locked.
Could you please either unlock it, correct the errors or add me to the trusted list and I'll correct them.
I am looking into the family tree of the Haig family of Dollar, Clackmannanshire - we now live in the house in Dollar which was built for J.B.Haig (Haig-24) at the turn of the century. Based on the gravestones in Dollar Parish Church I think there may be some small discrepancies to try to iron out. I'd be glad to collaborate on this if it's a family you are still interested in researching?
Thanks,
Richard Coe
Good morning Jim, I'm following up to see if you received the trusted list request I sent you on 11 January for John Hamilton. I'd like to try to work out where he fits in to his family. Thanks Gillian
Hello Patricia: Thank you for the suggestion. I had no idea that list existed. However, changes will have to wait because we are being evicted (for profit) from our rental on Aug 20th and we have no where to go. very problematic with a 13 yr old Blind daughter with severe heart disease - 5 of us in total. I only get online a few minutes a day. Will try to get on the list after we find a place if we are not living in our van.
1. Does it say "Vereinigte Staaten" somewhere? That would be German for "United States". I thought I used the original english links and Infos everywhere...
2. Unfortunately I dont have any Infos on Amanda Hughleys parents. Amanda was black. She was born during times of slavery, thats why I couldnt find her parents yet.
I think I found some of her siblings through DNA Matching though. All those Hughley / Huguley descendants are black.
Her husband Henry Walker was white. The DNA Matches on henrys side are all white and leading to Beverly walkers and Caroline Crawfords Families.
On the 1770 he is listed as black though along with his black wife and children.
Maybe because it was illegal for a white man to marry a black woman? Idk ;-)
Hi again! I didn't hear back from dbfa, but someone just updated the link to a newsletter on Antoine's profile & it looks like dbfa.org is back, and redesigned. Newsletters can be found at http://www.dbfa.org/newsletters-3/
Being 14th cousins does not surprise me a bit. I have a lot of Walker cousins, two of my grandmother's sisters married Walker brothers in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Since families and friends tended to migrate together I would not be surprised of a Walker connection way farther back.
I was looking through some of this communications of Jim Walker and read yours. I am tied to you but through marriages. Not sure how this all works yet but my profile is Walker-52450.
This profile has a simple database error (DBE#724) in the way that the first name has been formatted.
Could you please either correct the name, unlock the profile, or add me to the trusted list and I'll fix it.
Thank you
Could you please merge Catharina (Vanderhoef) Griffin (bef.1731-) and Catrijn (Vander Hoef) Griffin (bef.1722-aft.1762). They are duplicate profiles with one having the Anglicized version of the birth name. Thank you.

Thank you, Dawn Woerner-George
Please take a look at the merge I purposed for: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/UNKNOWN-58642

I will do more research on Katherine "Elna-Elena-Anna" (ref. Moncreiffe-37) to make sure we do not merge before we are certain. Michèle
