John Walker was probably the son of David Walker, Sr. and his wife, Mary of Goochland County.[1] That David named a son John in his will. Also, the names of two of John's sons "David" and "Joel Walker" may indicate kinship, as David named a son "Joel Walker" in his will.
He probably met his wife, Elizabeth, after her father started receiving patents and buying land in what is now Buckingham County, Virginia in 1745. By at least 1762, they had relocated to the frontier in Rowan County, North Carolina (later Guilford, now Rockingham).[2] The Walkers still lived here when Elizabeth's father passed away in 1778.[3] They later moved to Georgia, where John Walker passed away about 1791, while Elizabeth passed away in 1803.
The profile for David Walker is well-sourced and explains how some researchers have confused him and his wife with a contemporaneous David and Mary nearby.

Changing the birth place from NC to Va and the death place from NC to Ga is not a "minor correction". You did not make the corresponding changes in the biography. The wife Elizabeth Hunter who was born in Va and died in Ga may or may not be the Elizabeth Hunter who was born and died in Guilford Co., NC.
