Hello:

I hope my Wikitree ignorance is not causing me this misunderstanding - Can you help me please? On this page Rev Samuel Walker is shown as father to Alexander and George - but when I look at both THEIR profiles 'Mother' is listed as UNKNOWN? Does this mean there is a 3rd woman in Rev Samuel's life that bore these two sons of Samuel?

Thank you for your help.

Thomas Samuel did not survive the 1622 Jamestown Massacre. I have him as dying in James City, which is different from Jamestown. The Jamestown Massacre was a coordinated attack that killed over 400 settlers, in multi settlement locations. James City encompassed James City County, part of New Kent County & part of Charles City County. By 1622 there were about 25 or more settlements. Elizabeth was not listed in the 1624 Muster. She was either also killed or remarried. Thomas S. is listed in Capt. John Smiths 1607 Census, & it is believed Elizabeth is listed on the first or second 'supply ship'. I am going to Jamestown this fall & I will check in some of their documents. I live in the Historic Triangle.
