Amos Parkhurst
Amos was born on April 25, 1756 at Weston, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, the youngest child of Josiah Parkhurst and Sarah Carter.[1][2] He was baptized at the Weston Church on May 9, 1756.[3]
The town of Weston recorded that Amos Parkhurst, son of Josiah and Sarah, was born April 25, 1756, and the Weston Church record shows he was baptized on May 9, 1756. Unfortunately the website containing the Early Vital Records of Massachusetts from 1600 to 1850 has reversed the description of these pages. The error is easily discerned by noticing the reporting entity at the top of the photographic page. The town reported his birth,[2] and the church reported his baptism.[3]
