Biography

THIS SON ANDREW MAY NOT BE THE SON OF CONRAD.

It was assumed Conrad was the eldest son, but there may be another son, Martin whom we assume was in the New River with Adam first. Could Andrew be Martin's son? HEAVENER STATES: "The Wall Brother's Adam and MARTIN lived at Wall bottoms just below Stroubles Creek". Heavener was a lifelong resident and historian of the area. We know nothing of Martin at this time, other than he arrived on the ship Glasgow on Sept 9th 1738 in the port of Philadelphia out of Cowes, Walter Sterling master , along with Adam , the others were too young or as in the case of Aphel a female so unlisted on rosters. (Rupps) Heavener (German New River Settlement by Rev. Ulysses S.A. Heavener, M.A. p 23 ) states " The Wall brothers Martin and Adam lived at Wall bottoms just below mouth of Stroubles Creek. There are no tax records or tithes associated with his name. .

This son is mentioned in Adam I will as eldest brothers son Andrew. Nothing more is known about him at this time. We know Conrad had sons, John & Adam. John married Dorcus Mattox. sister of Mary Ann who married his brother Adam.
