John Wall Jr. was a Virginia colonist.
1776 Project
John Wall Jr. served with Virginia Line during the American Revolution.

June 4 1784 awarded cash for a sorrel mare for being on guard duty of the lead mines with two wagon loads of lead for use of the southern army after General Gates defeat, by order of Col. Preston., during the Revolutionary War. [1]

His estate was appraised and tallied by May 30th 1827 so he had died prior to that event. He was called John Sr. to distinguish him from his cousin John Wall from his uncle Conrad Wall SR father of Adam, John & Samuel and probably others

George Skilleron & Nicholas Sallust (Sollas) were appointed guardian of John Wall Jr. on 18 Feb 1761 as his father had died. . (John's mother (Margaret Unknown Wall remarried Nicholas Sallust and had a son James that married Jacob Shell Sr's daughter Margaret . The marriage bond was dated Nov 4 1780.

1791 land survey on his land that adjoined James bane, In 1799 an additional 500 acres were added to his holdings, that adjoined the land of John Preston, John Snavely Adam Wall & Price's.

St. Michael Lutheran Church The church was built of hewn logs and called St. Michael’s. The deed for the land was not officially given to the Lutherans until 1806 when the executors of the estate delivered the deed to the four acre tract to representatives John Wall and Michael Surface.
